Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison

This cover is for the paper back edition. The ebook cover is different.

At first this book was a little slow for me to get into. I did at one point foolish think about stopping. I am so glad i didn't.
Once it got more into the story i was completely captivated with the characters and the world they are set in.
Pia was taught nothing but to run. Holding many different identities and keep hidden cash all across New York, she makes a life changing mistake. She steals from a dragon. Grabbing some cash and borrowing a friends car she goes on the run. She thought she would be safe in another Elder's land, boy was she wrong.
No one has ever found Dragos hoard let alone steal from it. How did she get passed his defenses? How had he not sensed someone was breaching his security?
One thing is for certain, he wants the thief caught and punished. But the more he finds out about his little thief the more intrigued he becomes by her.
Just when Pia thought she was safe in her friends beach house in another Elder state. A dragon appears in the sky.

This was beautifully written, a real enjoyment, at the end i couldn't put it down!!

Touching Smoke By Airicka Phoenix

 Touching Smoke
Airicka Phoenix

After spending weeks reading books and giving up half way because they just weren't interesting enough i found this. And it was like the sun shining through a cloudy day.
Starting it , I expected it to be a light easy read, I was happily proved wrong. The story doesn't give anything away. Literally, it's like the last four chapters that you start finding things out, and everything you thought was going to happen doesn't. The book took the complete opposite direction from what I had presumed it would, and I must say it was a nice surprise.
It was also a nice change from the vampire/werewolf novels that I have been reading a lot lately.
I really liked the lead character Fallon. Her witty comebacks and some of the things she thinks had me laughing out loud.
Isaiah was a different hero type character, he was lost almost as much as Fallon was. He doesn't remember his past so when faced with the answers he is learning along with Fallon. The only real difference is that he is in control of his abilities whereas Fallon doesn't even know what abilities she has.
I very rarely highlight things when i am reading on my kindle, but i must have highlighted at least ten things whilst reading this.
Needless to say i am hooked on this series and moving swiftly onto the next installment.

Cover Reveal for Finding Trust

Leah had been a daddies girl, always taking his side when her parents had their petty debates, pacing the floor waiting for him to come home from work where she would run into his arms and the bed time stories he would read to her at night.
Then one day it all changed, her dad packed his things and left with another woman.
Since then Leah doesn't trust anyone, especially men. She watches the world pass from behind the walls she had barricaded herself with.
Then they come. The new neighbour with her daughter who refuses to leave Leah alone and the older brother who might just teach Leah to trust again.

COMING SOON!

Just want to say a massive thank you to Lyn from http://stanzalonedesign.weebly.com/index.html for making this cover. Fully recommended her, she was quick with response and had the cover ready really quick. Will be using her work in future.
